Phase Eight snaps up Jigsaw’s online boss

Phase Eight has poached Jigsaw’s head of online trading and digital marketing for a similar role, according to Drapers.

James Williams, who has worked at Jigsaw for the past two years, will join Phase Eight from next week.

Before Jigsaw, he had an eight-year stint with Marks & Spencer in various roles, including store manager, senior finance and operations manager and online trading manager for food.

At Phase Eight, Williams will replace Louise Salt, who stepped down in March.

Williams will be  responsible for growing and enhancing  Phase Eight‘s online channels and customer experience.

He will also be responsible for the digital growth and development of other retail fascias owned by Phase Eight parent company TFG, including Damsel in a Dress and plus-size brand Studio 8.
