Olivia Burton chooses Covent Garden for first UK store

Watch brand Olivia Burton is set to open its first UK store in Covent Garden, London.

The British brand, which currently trades online via its own website, will open in a 1200sq ft unit at Capital & Counties Properties’ (Capco) Market Building in May.

Olivia Burton is the latest retailer to take a store in Covent Garden, following Chanel, Tom Ford Beauty and Links of London.

Olivia Burton was founded by best friends Lesa Bennett and Jemma Fennings in 2012 and named after Bennett’s great aunt.

The brand has a loyal following already, and creates watches and jewellery inspired by nature and vintage styles.

“Covent Garden is such an iconic spot,” Fennings said.

“With its beautiful architecture and history as a long-standing flower market, there couldn’t be a more perfect place to open our very first store.”

Capco Covent Garden director Michelle McGrath added: “We’re delighted that Olivia Burton has chosen Covent Garden for its first store.

“Its beautiful products fit perfectly in the Market Building alongside the likes of Daniel Wellington, Deciem and Tom Ford.

“This addition further strengthens the district’s premium beauty, accessory and fashion offer.”
