Holly Willoughby to be Marks and Spencer’s new brand ambassador

Holly Willoughby has selected 20 of her favourite Autumn “must haves” which will be available online and selected Marks and Spencer’s (M&S) stores from September 27.

The collection, “Holly’s Must-Haves”, aims to celebrate the stylish essentials which women need in their autumn collections.

The TV presenter, Willoughby said: “I have grown up with and have always loved M&S, so when they asked me to be a brand ambassador, of course I said yes!”

In a separate Instagram photo, Willoughby stated: “Marks & Spencer have always been part of my family and now they have asked me to be part of theirs.”

This comes amid an ongoing turnaround effort at M&S’ fashion arm, which has endured a significant fall from grace in recent years.

Chief executive Steve Rowe’s overall transformation strategy – initially announced in November 2016 and accelerated when retail veteran Archie Norman joined as chairman a year later – includes plans to reposition around 25 per cent of M&S clothing and home space through a combination of closures, downsizes, relocations and conversions to food-only stores.

Additional edits are set to follow in October and into 2019.
