Superdry’s chief product officer Brigitte Danielmeyer has stepped down from her role due to personal reasons.

Danielmeyer joined in September last year as the fashion retailer’s first ever chief product officer.

The resignation follows her leaving period during Christmas.

Her previous experience includes working as the global head of womenswear at Tommy Hilfiger, where she supported the retailer’s successful collaboration with supermodel Gigi Hadid.

She has also worked on senior management roles at Esprit and German womenswear retailer Liebeskind Berlin.

The retailer is currently searching for Danielmeyer’s replacement.
