Microsoft has confirmed that its brand new 22,000sq ft flagship store in London’s Oxford Street will open on July 11.

Microsoft’s debut bricks-and-mortar store in the UK will cover three floors and will located in the former United Colors of Benetton unit at 255-259 Regent Street.

News of Microsoft’s first foray into the UK high street first emerged in September 2017.

The tech giant’s other flagships are located in New York and Sydney.

The new London store will offer shoppers an interactive space to test Microsoft’s latest technology, products and services.

It will also feature an Answer Desk, where customers can get tech support, repairs, training and advice from specialist staff.

A Community Theatre will put on free workshops for visitors to learn about technology, coding and STEM subjects – science, technology, engineering and maths.

“This opening represents another step in our journey to meet our customers – from consumers to businesses – wherever they are and deepen our connection with them,” Microsoft Stores corporate vice president David Porter said.
