The head of merchandising at Miss Selfridge has left Arcadia Group to join Boohoo.

James Linsell will join as the fashion etailer’s head of merchandising after serving at Sir Philip Green’s company, where he began as senior merchandiser in 2012, and was appointed head of merchandising at Miss Selfridge in April 2018.

Linsell has also worked with Big 4 leader Tesco as merchandise planner since 2006.

Arcadia recently announced plans to slash 170 head office roles after its CVA was given the green light.
