Domestic expansions include the refurbishment of its Kings Cross St Pancras store, as well as the opening of a new store at The Royal Exchange in central London, marking Fortnum & Mason’s first new location that is not at a major travel terminal.

The retailer also underwent a multi-million pound overhaul of both the confectionery and tea-ware departments in its iconic Piccadilly flagship.

Internationally, Fortnum & Mason is set to open its first standalone store outside the UK in Hong Kong next month.

The department store has also bucked national retail trends in the past five years, seeing consistent double-digit year-on-year growth.
