Dunhill was named the best British luxury brand of the year at the recent Walpole Luxury Awards, which took place late last month in London.
While the menswear retailer took home the British Luxury Brand, on the other end of the spectrum, online florist Flowerbx won the Emerging Talent category.
Burberry won the Luxury with a Heart category, while Smythson was recognised in the British Luxury Overseas category.
Meanwhile, Fortnum & Mason chief executive Ewan Venters won the Luxury Leader award.
The annual Walpole British Luxury Awards celebrates the best high-end products, services and individuals from a diverse range of British businesses, spanning multiple sectors: from fashion, fragrance and fine jewellery to hotels, automobiles and accessories.
Those on the judging panel for this year’s awards included Harrods managing director Michael Ward, Gieves & Hawkes chairman Mark Henderson, and several others.
Organisers of Walpole British Luxury Awards say the British luxury sector is worth over £48 billion to the UK economy.
