Retail Gazette Loves: Selfridges’ new Thank You tribute window display

Selfridges has unveiled a new Thank You window display at its flagship Oxford Street store to celebrate key workers who have kept the country going during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The unveiling comes as Selfridges prepares to reopen its stores in London, Manchester, and Birmingham on Monday, with extra health and safety precautions in place throughout.

Made up of hundreds of unique posters inspired by stories on a national and local level, the window displays aim to give thanks to those who have helped people and communities around the country at this difficult time.

Messages of thanks are seen on the new window displays.

To mark the reopening of its stores, Selfridges offered team members the chance to have their own messages of thanks displayed across its windows in London, Manchester and Birmingham as well as its digital channels.

Dedicated to friends, families, the NHS, key workers, kind strangers and more, these posters show a note of appreciation from all at Selfridges.

The windows are an extension of the Selfridges #KindnessChallenge, a series of charitable initiatives aimed to support the communities in which Selfridges operates its stores.
