Dobbies has announced an exclusive partnership with Sainsbury’s to bring a range of food and grocery products to the former’s garden centres.
The partnership will launch at Dobbies’ Edinburgh garden centre in late July, giving customers the opportunity to buy over 3000 food products, ranging from ambient, chilled, fresh and frozen produce.
The partnership will also see Sainsbury’s supply Dobbies stores with some other grocery, household and toiletry products.

This is not the first time Dobbies has struck a partnership deal with a grocery chain.
In 2018, the garden centre retailer struck a similar, but smaller, deal with northern grocery chain Booths to supply Dobbies with Booths Brand products such as its ready meals, pasta, desserts and delicatessen ranges.
“The partnership between Dobbies and Sainsbury’s is an excellent fit, with a shared goal of offering the best to our customers,” Dobbies chief executive Graeme Jenkins said.
“By complementing our existing garden centre ranges with a comprehensive food and grocery offer, we will offer our customers a convenient solution for their grocery needs. We look forward to launching our first new look food hall at Edinburgh in late July.”
