VF Corp hires Susie Mulder as global brand president of Timberland

VF Corp has announced the appointment of Susie Mulder as the new global brand president of its Timberland fascia.

Due to step into her new role on April 4, Mulder will report to VF Corp chairman, president and chief executive Steve Rendle.

She will also be a member of VF Corp’s executive leadership team.

Mulder’s remit will include heading up Timberland’s core business strategy, of which product diversification across the footwear and apparel categories is a part.

She will also build on Timberland’s new eco-innovation franchises and work to maintain the success of the Timberland PRO business.

Mulder has been chief executive of the NIC+ZOE clothing brand since 2012, and before that she was a partner at global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company.

She is also currently a board member at Sally Beauty Holdings, and the Kraft Heinz Company where she serves on the audit and nominating and governance committees.

Rendle said: “We conducted a very thoughtful and extensive search to find the ideal person to lead our iconic Timberland brand globally, and we found that person in Susie.

“She brings a broad mix of experience in apparel, retail and consumer strategies, all of which is complemented by her strong leadership skills and passion for people and active lifestyles.”

Aside from Timberland, VF Corp also owns other high street retailers such as Vans and The North Face.
