This move comes after John Lewis expanded the range to include menswear, womenswear and childrenswear following an initial launch in April featuring home, technology and nursery essentials.

John Lewis executive director Pippa Wicks said: “Anyday continues to be a stepchange for us, modernising John Lewis, bringing inspiration and quality to a wider audience.

“Sales and customer feedback since our spring launch has been brilliant, our customers have described it as modern, vibrant, inclusive and accessible.”

  1. Have I read this right that you can’t actually buy anything directly in this “pop up”? Management
needs to remember that a high % of potential customers won’t bother to walk back to the main multi floor store to then try to track where to actually buy that specific item. Having found the item it is all then down to self service. Little human interaction in this process equals lost sales opportunities. As I see it the only winner is the Centre Management who have as a result filled a vacant shop unit. Welcome to Christmas 2021 Retailing.
