Dunelm appoints ex-Kingfisher finance boss as CFO

The homewares retailer Dunelm has appointed Karen Witts as its new chief financial officer.

Witts will join the Dunelm board on 9 June, succeeding Laura Carr.

Dunelm described Witt as an accomplished finance leader who brings a wealth of experience from  a number of roles with high profile, consumer-facing, brands.

Most recently, until October 2021, Kitts was chief financial officer of the food and hospitality company Compass Group and prior to this she was CFO of Kingfisher Group, from 2012 to 2019.

Witts has also held a number of senior finance, strategic and operational roles with Vodafone between 2010 and 2012, and at BT Group between 1999 and 2010.
