Watches of Switzerland has appointed former chief executive of the Piaget Swiss luxury watch brand, Chabi Nouri, as an independent non-executive director.

Nouri will join office on May 1, and also become a member of the company’s ESG Committee.

She has spent seven years with Piaget, and took on a strategic advisory role with the Richemont Group.

Nouri also spent some time as head of retail operations at luxury brand Cartier.

“Chabi has outstanding luxury retail experience, particularly in the watch and jewellery sector, and we are delighted to welcome someone of her pedigree and expertise to the board,” Watches of Switzerland Group CEO, Brian Duffy said.

The group has also announced two appointments within its senior management team. Craig Bolton, currently executive director, UK, has been appointed as president, Watches of Switzerland Group, UK and Europe.

Meanwhile, David Hurley, currently the executive vice president, US, has been appointed as president, Watches of Switzerland Group, North America. In addition, Hurley has been named as deputy chief executive of the group.

Duffy added: “I would like to congratulate David and Craig on their respective appointments.

“Our management structure continues to develop in response to and in anticipation of our business development. I look forward to working with them as we continue to execute our long range plan.”
