// The Marriot International president will step into the role from 27 January 2023

Under Armour has named Marriot International president Stephanie Linnartz as its next chief executive and president.

She will replace Colin Browne effective from 27 January next year, who stepped in as interim CEO in June after the departure of Patrik Frisk.

Browne will resume his position as chief operating officer.

Linnartz joins from Marriot International where she has worked for over 25 years holding various roles including group president, global officer and senior vice president before stepping up as president in 2021.

Under Armour executive chair and brand chief Kevin Plank said: “[Stephanie] is a proven growth leader with a distinguished track record of brand strategy, omnichannel execution, talent acquisition and development, and passion for driving best-in-class consumer connectivity, experience, and brand loyalty.
