Primark cuts prices on kids clothing and expands click and collect

Primark is slashing prices on hundreds of its essential children’s clothing products to help families battle the cost of living crisis.

The discount retailer is lowering prices across selected ranges of its kidswear essentials, under its upcoming Autumn/Winter collection, which arrives in all UK Primark stores at the end of July.

Parents will be able to pick up a child’s outfit comprising of a long-sleeved t-shirt, leggings and zip through hoodie for £8.10, compared to £9.80 in Autumn/Winter last year.

Meanwhile, a baby outfit consisting of a sweatshirt and joggers will cost £4.60, down from £6 in 2022.

Primark chief executive Paul Marchant said: “Kids clothes are an essential purchase, and we know that getting ready for a new school term can be a really expensive time for many families.

“We want to do our bit to help alleviate some of that pressure by lowering the prices on many of our kids’ essentials, while continuing to offer the same great quality”.
