Iceland Foods has brought back its 1p online sale for the summer holidays to support customers through the cost-of-living crisis.

The supermarket chain is reducing selected summer staples to 1p for 24 hours as part of its Holiday 1p Helpers promotion, which runs until 11 August.

Customers will be required to enter a code at the app’s checkout to redeem the promotion, which will be announced on Iceland’s Instagram and app each day.

Executive chairman Richard Walker said: “We know how tough it can be to feed the family during the summer.

“We wanted to make more items accessible for our shoppers and ease the stress when it comes to doing the weekly shop by giving unbeatable value on some of the nation’s favourite fridge and freezer fillers.

“There’s no catch, just shop via the Iceland app and use the code – it couldn’t be easier.”

We had a country are going backwards not forwards. The government who rule this country has made a terrible mess of things .

I’d say they’re not. They’re mismanaging their money. Especially young families.
People are blowing the cost of living payments on luxuries instead of paying for their utilities.

I went to Iceland, which used to be cheap to buy some frozen meals, but found out they’d replaced the usual meals for they’re own costly luxury meals. I won’t be going back!

The United Kingdom has become a kleptocracy. Every PM for long enough is doing deals to make him and their friends richer, while squandering billions and taxing the life out of the public.
When will the British people take action?
