The Bluewater Uniqlo branch is opening in a new, larger location after trading at the shopping centre for 13 years.

The new store, due to open on 17th October, will feature a sales floor of roughly 1,185 sq meters and will be located on the ground floor of the shopping complex.

Uniqlo’s current store is set to close on 5th October in advance of the new store opening.

Bluewater centre director James Waugh said: “We’re thrilled that Uniqlo will be expanding and relocating to a larger store within the centre.

“Having built a loyal following here for well over a decade, we’re sure the new-look store will be a big hit with Bluewater guests.”

Back in April, Uniqlo opened a new store in Covent Garden with its sister brand, Theory.

The move made the shopping hub the second UK retail location to host both Uniqlo and Theory under one roof.
