Wilko has launched wilkohire – what it described as “the ultimate tool and equipment hire service”, in a bid to make quick fixes and big renovations accessible to all.

The service, operated in partnership with easyToolhire, means customers can hire everything they need for their jobs, from gardening and landscaping, to cleaning, drilling, painting and decorating  – whatever the scale and size.

The home and garden retailer said consumers can visit wilkotoolhire.com and select the tools they require and the dates they need them for.

The tools or equipment selected are then delivered to home or site for use and collected once the job’s done, while all users can benefit from 15% off their first hire in March 2024.

Wilkohire is the latest development from the business since it relaunched its wesbite last autumn under its new owner The Range.

Last week, the retailer said it would be launching a new store in Poole in Dorset, as it confirmed the opening dates of its upcoming Rotherham and St Albans shops as The Range continues its national roll-out of Wilko shops after it acquired the brand’s IP out of administration last October.
