Discount retailer Home Bargains saw profit and sales rise in its latest annual results.

The company recorded a sales increase of 7.9% from £4,209m to £4,541m for the year ended 30 June 2025.

The business attributed the revenue rise to the opening of additional retail outlets during the year, shop re-sites, as well as an increased contribution from existing stores.

Operating profit jumped from £434m to £492m over the period.

Home Bargains grew to 632 retail outlets as of 30 June 2025.

It noted that it intended to boost its number of retail outlets in operation over the next year, with plans to eventually have between 800 and 1,000 retail outlets open.

The results come after Home Bargains unveiled plans to overhaul its network infrastructure with a new partnership in November.

The retailer appointed Evolve Business Group to deliver a fully managed network solution across its UK store estate, in a bid to enhance security and operational efficiency.
