Moss has announced that it is relocating to a larger store at Cribbs Mall, after signing a 15-year lease, while Levi’s is set to take over the menswear retailer’s former unit.
Moss will move into a 4,124sq ft store at the Bristol shopping centre, giving it almost twice the space of its existing 2,265sq ft branch.
The expanded shop will allow Moss to display a broader range of suits, formalwear, casualwear and accessories, as well as upgrade its customer experience.
Meanwhile, Levi’s has agreed a five-year lease on Moss’s former unit, marking the denim brand’s debut at Cribbs.
The new arrival follows a string of fashion openings at the centre, including Rodd & Gunn, AllSaints and Animal.
Cribbs said the deals reflected growing demand from both new and existing occupiers, with several established retailers also investing in their stores at the destination.
Crew Clothing Company, H&M, Skechers and River Island have recently upgraded their presence at the shopping centre.
Sovereign Centros by CBRE asset management director Katie Searle said: “We’re delighted to welcome Levi’s to Cribbs.
“Securing another internationally recognised fashion brand further strengthens our retail mix and demonstrates the continued appeal of the centre to both new and existing occupiers.
“At the same time, Moss’s decision to relocate to a larger unit reflects the confidence that established brands continue to have in the centre.”
She added that the larger space would enable Moss to strengthen its offer and improve the shopping experience.
Sovereign Centros provides asset management services at Cribbs on behalf of M&G Real Estate.
Time Retail Partners and Cushman & Wakefield are retained as the centre’s letting agents, while Green & Partners acts in a leasing advisory role.
