Aldi is opening a new store every week during September, creating up to 120 new jobs across its four locations.
The discount grocer is launching three stores this month in Telford, Shropshire; Rayleigh, Essex; and Hoxton, East London. Up to 30 roles will be available at each location.
The openings come after Aldi launched its new Balsall Common store near Solihull last week.
The new shops form part of the supermarket’s £370 million investment in new stores this year and its long-term ambition to operate 1,500 stores across the UK.
Aldi UK managing director of national real estate Jonathan Neale said: “We know there are still communities across the country that want access to an Aldi store, and we’re working hard to bring our unbeatable value to more of them.
“Opening a new store every week throughout September demonstrates the pace of our expansion, while creating new jobs and bringing high-quality, affordable food to even more shoppers.”
The Aldi stores opening in September are as follows:
- Kenilworth Road, Balsall Common – 3 September
- Waterloo Road, Ketley Point, Telford – 10 September
- Weir Retail Park, Rayleigh – 17 September
- Hackney Road, Hoxton – 24 September
