CTR Group, the owner of fashion rental platform Hirestreet and secondhand marketplace Thrift+, has brought its circular retail businesses together under its ZOA Group umbrella.
The group combines Hirestreet and Thrift+ with resale businesses Wowzer and Reuseabook, offering retailers a single platform to manage surplus stock, returns and end-of-line products.
ZOA Group aims to help retailers maximise the value of unsold stock by moving products through rental, resale, repair and recycling channels, rather than relying on traditional clearance and disposal methods.
The business operates across 20 sales channels and its portfolio has handled more than 10 million secondhand transactions, according to Drapers.
It is also reportedly planning two further acquisitions in the circular fashion sector before the end of 2026.
The platform is backed by CTR Group’s logistics and operational infrastructure, allowing retailers to track products throughout their lifecycle and direct them towards the most commercially viable route.
It also offers a rental-as-a-service proposition, enabling retailers to integrate clothing rental directly into their own websites while ZOA handles warehousing, fulfilment, cleaning and repairs.
The expansion follows CTR Group’s acquisition of Hirestreet in September, as previously reported by Retail Gazette.
The deal gave Hirestreet access to the group’s operational network, which processes more than 1,500 tonnes of stock a week across 560,000 sq ft of facilities in the UK and Europe.
CTR Group also acquired Thrift+ in March 2025, as part of its strategy to bring together consumer-facing circular businesses and help retailers generate further revenue from products through rental and resale.
