H&M Kids has teamed up with Morris & Co for a childrenswear collection centred on “reimagined heritage”.
The collection features smocked dresses, matching sets and scalloped collar blouses in Morris & Co’s Strawberry Thief print as well as botanicals, birds and floral prints.
It utilises texture such as brushed knit, corduroy and wool-mix and a colour palette of taupe, ivory, chestnut, dusky pink and deep teal.
According to the brand, the collection is both “nostalgic and new” and captures the feeling of an English autumn.
Sofia Löfstedt, head of kidswear design at H&M said: “Our collaboration with Morris & Co. takes the storytelling of Strawberry Thief and brings it into everyday kidswear – pieces that feel rooted in craft but ready for real life. Together, we’ve created a collection that is about heritage made playful.”
Jessica Clayworth at Morris & Co said: “Strawberry Thief is all about celebrating the small, wild details in daily life, which felt like the perfect starting point for a children’s collection.
“The story of thrushes visiting the kitchen garden of Morris’ countryside home is an idyllic fairy tale in itself, and working with H&M brings these designs to a new generation, in pieces made to be worn, loved and lived in,” says
The collection will launch on 8th October in selected markets online.
