Lidl will increase the pay rate of all UK store and warehouse staff for the third time in 12 months as it invests a further £8m into supporting employees with the cost-of-living crisis.
From September, rates for those working outside the M25 will increase from £11 to £11.40, rising to £12.30 with length of service.
Meanwhile, those inside the M25 will see their salary rise to £12.85 and £13.15.

The German grocer said it remains the highest paying supermarket in the UK as it brings its total investment into staff pay to over £60m in the past year alone.
Lidl GB chief executive Ryan McDonnell said: “These new rates of pay will ensure that Lidl maintains its position as the UK’s highest paying supermarket.
“Our people are at the core of everything we do, and this investment recognises the hard work and contribution they make in serving communities across the country every day.”
Earlier this month, Lidl revealed it was recruiting over 1,500 warehouse staff across its existing regional distribution centre network as part of its focus to strengthen infrastructure.
