Neptune looks to open five new London stores

Upmarket furniture retailer Neptune is eyeing five new stores around London as part of its expansion strategy in the capital city.

The retailer, which has existing stores in the Chiswick and Fulham neighbourhoods, is hoping to secure new stores around the size 5000sq ft and 7000sq ft in Chelsea, Kensington and Muswell Hill.

Real estate advisor Savills has been instructed to acquire the new stores on behalf of Neptune, with a possibility of acquiring more in 2017.

The retailer has over 20 stores outside of London, in locations including Bristol, Cheltenham, Wilmslow and York.  

Neptune was established in a farm workshop in Wiltshire in 1996 and now has a team of more than 100 designers, carpenters and painters.
