Moss Bros chairman Debbie Hewitt is due to be replaced by Joules’ chief executive Colin Porter with immediate effect.

Porter has been assigned as a non-executive director to the board with immediate effect.

He will take up the role as chairman following Hewitt’s retirement in May.

Porter will report to Moss Bros chief executive Brian Brick.

“As well as his proven multi-channel experience, Colin brings broad strategic, international, retailing skills, within a private and listed board environment,” Hewitt said.

Porter said: “I am really excited to be joining the board and taking up the role of chairman of Moss Bros, which is a company with a great heritage, committed colleagues and tremendous opportunities for growth.”
