The White Company hires former Topshop exec as new head of buying

The White Company has reportedly hired Topshop’s former buying director Emma Fox to become its new head of buying.

According to Drapers, Fox will leave Topshop in February to take on her new role at The White Company, specialising in its clothing and kidswear departments.

Fox first joined Topshop as a buying admin assistant in 1996 before moving to Asos in 2011.

She returned to Topshop in 2015 as buying director.

The White Company is currently has Mary Homer as its chief executive, who is also a former Topshop executive.

She had been with the Sir Philip Green fashion chain for more than three decades, including more than 10 years as its managing director.

She left Topshop in 2017.
