Ex B&Q Chief Martyn Phillips buys equity stake in leadership consultancy

Former CEO and Retail Director of B&Q Martyn Phillips has bought an equity stake in leadership consultancy Leading Edge and will be its new Owner Director.

The seven year-old company, which counts DHL, Cath Kidston and Morrisons among its clients, provides leadership solutions for individual, teams and organisations.

“Helping businesses thrive through bespoke, performance led people interventions is what I do and I‘m looking forward to working with the team, existing and new clients,” commented Phillips.

Mr Phillips, who left B&Q in October 2013 by “mutual agreement”, was also a member of the home improvement giant Kingfisher Group Operating board and led it in nine countries globally including China and Russia.
