Robin Terrell has stepped down as Tesco’s chief customer officer after three years to persue a new career direction.
The retail giant’s chief customer officer joined the company in February 2013 as a multichannel director and served as interim boss for the company in 2014.
Terrell also holds a position as non-executive director at Karen Millen, and has previously held non-executive positions at Wilko, Lazada Group and Monica Vinader.
“Robin has decided to resign from Tesco in order to pursue a different direction in his career and we fully respect that decision,” a Tesco spokesman said.
“We’d like to thank Robin for his significant contribution to Tesco during an important time for our business. We wish him well for the future.”
Tesco stated they would find a replacement “in due course”.
