Cardiff‘s entire Queens Arcade Shopping Centre has been put up for sale by its owner Addington Capital.

The management and investment company acquired the shopping centre in March 2011, three years after it was refurbished.

However, it now seeks to sell the complex situated in the heart of Cardiff, which has a reported footfall of 10 million shoppers every year.

Spanning 150,000sq ft, the centre is home to numerous top retailers including New Look, Skechers, Argos, Animal, Entertainer, 2Seasons and Rymans.

Bruce Nutman of Time Retail Partners, the company appointed to sell the property, said: “There remain numerous active asset management initiatives for the future owners of this scheme.

“There is a real lack of quality stock in the investment market at the present time and the centre’s location in central Cardiff will add to its attraction.”
