Luxury accessories retailer MCM has moved into its new flagship store in London‘s prestigious Mayfair district after closing down its former Sloane Street shop.

The Munich-based brand, which stands for Modern Creation Munich, is now occupying the space once held by the Mayfair Christian Dior store under a 15-year lease.

The store takes up 2690sq ft and is located at 16 Conduit Street, in between Bond and Regent streets.

“We are very pleased that a luxury brand of this calibre has chosen Conduit Street after considering the wider Mayfair area,” said Anthony Selwyn, head of central London retail at Savills.

“MCM will be an excellent addition to the street‘s burgeoning luxury retail line up.”

The official store opening ceremony will take place on December 6, the same day as the brand‘s 40th anniversary.
