Lingerie brand Hunkemöller has returned to the UK retail market with the launch of a dedicated online store.

Previously available for sale in the UK via online retailer Zalando and through global website hunkemöller.com, the Dutch company has established hunkemöller.co.uk as part of its expansion strategy.

To mark its return, Hunkemöller held a fashion show on London‘s Millennium Bridge.

Hunkemöller first entered the UK in 2011 via its debut concession in House of Fraser’s Oxford Street store.

While there were plans to expand the concessions to other House of Fraser stores, Hunkemöller eventually withdrew its physical presence in the UK.

According to a spokesperson, Hunkemöller chief executive Philip Mountford said there were no immediate plans to open a standalone UK shop, but “stores or concessions could be a possibility”.
