Reports have emerged that luxury outerwear brand Canada Goose is poised to open its first European store on London‘s Regent Street.

According to Retail Week and Drapers, the Canadian fashion brand close to finalising a deal for a new store on 244 Regent Street, where Armarni Exchange used to be.

Once confirmed and open, the UK flagship of Canada Goose would be its third bricks-and-mortar shop worldwide, having opened in Toronto and New York at the end of last year.

The news comes as the company made some senior appointments to help fulfil its global expansion ambitions.

Canada Goose has been trading directly with consumers in the UK and France since September, when it made its ecommerce debut on the continent.

In its native Canada, it only branched out to ecommerce in 2015 despite the fashion brand being founded almost 60 years ago.
