Maternity retailer JoJo Maman Bébé has announced that former Jaeger trading director Gwynn Milligan will join the company as commercial director.

Prior to her role at Jaeger, which collapsed into administration last month, Milligan held senior roles at JD Sports, ASOS and Sir Philip Green’s Arcadia Group.

According to the Sunday Times, JoJo Maman Bébé chief executive Laura Tension plans to double sales in the next few years to £100 million.

“While I still feel keen to be captain of my ship, I want to have a first mate who understands the requirements of a bigger business,” Tension said.

“Gwynn’s experience of successfully running the commercial departments of larger companies will be added to this brand’s predominantly home-grown board of directors.”

Milligan added: “I am looking forward to working with a talented team by further supporting their success and growth story.”
