Nike has reshuffled its senior leadership team in a move build on its recent growth momentum and drive deeper integration across the business.

President of consumer and marketplace Heidi O’Neill is to look after the consumer, product and brand division, while Jordan Brand president Craig Williams will become president of geographies and marketplace.

The sports retailer said 24-year Nike veteran O’Neill will be responsible for the global brand and sports marketing teams, as well as create and lead Nike Women’s business.

Williams, who has been credited with doubling revenue of the Jordan Brand, will lead the direct and wholesale division and will also head up its supply chain and logistics functions.

Meanwhile, Matthew Friend will take on procurement, demand and supply management as part of his remit as chief financial officer.

Nike said Sarah Mensah, vice president of North America, will succeed Williams as president of the Jordan Brand, and Converse chief executive Scott Uzzell will take on Mensah’s former role.

Chief executive John Donahoe said: “We’re driving even greater focus and integration across our business and teams through these changes, doubling down on what Nike does best: seamlessly serving athletes with compelling product.

“These shifts will allow us to streamline our focus across product, brand storytelling and marketplace, mining deep consumer insights to deliver breakthrough innovation and engagement, while building long-term growth and profitability.”
