The Lexicon Bracknell has signed up six more retailers just six weeks before the complex officially opens to the public, The Retail Gazette can reveal.
The £240 million town centre development has announced Joules, Timberland, Seasalt, Paperchase, The Body Shop, and Beauty Base as its new retail tenants.
This brings the total occupied floor space to 92 per cent and marks 11 new signings in the past three weeks, ahead of the grand opening on September 7.
Alongside the retail signings, Costa Coffee and Prezzo also secured leases in the 1 million sq ft scheme.
Joules and Timberland have secured 2300sq ft spaces in the development‘s premium shopping street The Avenue, while Seasalt and Paperchase will take 1670sq ft and 3875sq ft in neighbouring spaces.

In efforts to boost the location‘s beauty credentials, both The Body Shop and fragrance retailer Beauty Base will open in 1520sq ft and 2420sq ft spaces respectively.
“These eight new signings herald the high level of interest and momentum that The Lexicon continues to experience from leading retailers and F&B operators,” retail leasing manager for Legal & General Richard Poyser said.
“We‘re less than six weeks from the grand opening and we continue to secure an exciting mix of names for Bracknell.”
Jessica Berney, the head of UK retail at Schroder Real Estate, who have partnered with Legal & General on this scheme, added: “These new signings will not only enhance the new retail in the town centre and complement the impressive line-up of casual dining brands, but also boost the lunchtime and evening economy.
“Along with the 12-screen Cineworld, featuring the only 4DX screen in the Thames Valley, Bracknell town centre is set to become an exciting day-to-night destination.”
