Burberry to open new 4-storey flagship

Burberry is set to open a new four-storey flagship store in London‘s Knightsbridge, as it relocated from its current store in the area.

The 15,000sq ft store will be located on Sloane Street and is part of the new K1 expansion from property developer Chelsfield, ramping up its push to introduce more luxury retailers to the area after acquiring it in 2010.

The luxury fashion retailer will move its operations in Knightsbridge from its Brompton Road to the new location at 1 Sloane Street.

“We are delighted to once again be working with Burberry, one of the UK‘s leading brands, in a partnership that will see the creation of an outstanding new store within The Knightsbridge Estate‘s development on the corner of Sloane Street and Brompton Road,” Chelsfield chairman Elliott Bernerd said.

“This builds on a long-standing association between the two companies and epitomises the Chelsfield philosophy of establishing long-term relationships with exceptional and like-minded organisations.”
