The UK is home to a raft of bizarre appreciation societies. Who knew, for instance, that Brits had such a penchant for roundabouts?
Among the most outlandish are the Cloud Appreciation Society, the Pylon Appreciation Society, and now the Poundland Appreciation Society.
The Facebook group, which now has over 4000 followers has a straightforward ethos: “Do you LOVE Poundland? Come and share your latest finds, bargains and best kept secrets.”
“The rules are simple: Poundland only. No hate.”
Poundland lovers can now share their love of the discount retailer in one place, posting their favourite bargains and general appreciation of the often-overlooked store.
