UK shoppers can look forward to Amazon’s Treasure Truck reaching their shores, with the deal-sporting truck set to get its wheels in London and Manchester.
The Treasure Truck will initially pop up around the two cities several times a month, featuring one selected special deal per appearance, and with limited stock on the truck.
After customers sign up to the Treasury Truck service, they will receive a text alert when the truck is in town and revealing that day’s special offer.

After customers purchase the product in the Amazon app, they then select a convenient time and place to pick up the item at the truck.
The truck will also feature celebrity appearances, interactive games, seasonal events and on-the-spot prize giveaways.
“We all remember the sense of excitement we felt as children when we heard the jingle of the ice-cream van, and we hope to bring that same feeling with Treasure Truck,” Amazon UK’s head of Treasure Truck Quick said.
“Every product has been cherry picked, from must-have Christmas presents to jaw-dropping offers, ensuring Treasure Truck will turn an ordinary day into something a bit more special.”
Treasure Truck first launched in Amazon’s hometown of Seattle in February last year and has since expanded to a further 24 cities.
It will be the first time the service operates in the UK.
