Topman has announced the appointment of former New Look director Christopher Englinde as its new global brand director, the Retail Gazette can reveal.

Englinde joins Topman following an eight-month stint as an independent industry advisor and consultant within the fashion industry.
Prior to this he spent nearly two years as a director at New Look, after spending a decade at H&M in various roles.
These included section head and most recently director and division head which he held for over three years.
This comes as New Look announced senior shifts including the departure of its UK and Ireland managing director Danny Barrasso and international managing director Sven Gaede.
