United Colours of Benetton opens new Oxford Street store

Fashion retailer United Colours of Benetton opened the doors to a new three-storey 16,000sq ft flagship today in the heart of London’s West End.

The new Oxford Street store, positioned intentionally to benefit from the boost in footfall expected when the Elizabeth Line opens this year, will mark the retailer’s 16th UK store.

Its key features include a “knitwear theatre” displaying the brands extensive knitwear collection, LED screen cladded 12 ft arches, a lounge area and touchscreen interactive tables.

In 2016, the company’s most recently-published financial results, Benetton made a net loss from operating activities of €37.2 million (£32.86 million), down from a loss of €57,979 million (£51,221) in 2015.
