Off-price furniture and homeware retailer HomeSense will open at least nine new stores this autumn as it steps up its UK expansion plans.
Among the new openings, HomeSense will launch a new 28,233 sq ft store in Thurmaston Shopping Centre Leicester later this month, as well as Greenford in Westway Cross, London.
They’ll join the brand new HomeSense in Perth, Scotland, which opened last week.
The expansions focus on sites co-located with HomeSense’s sister company TK Maxx.
Both retailers operate ‘off-price’ concept, retailing products at up to 60 per cent less than the RRP.
The new locations bring HomeSense’s store total to just over 70 stores in the UK, although the Canadian-owned retailer has previously noted it has plans to operate approximately 150 stores in the UK and Ireland.
