Boxpark Wembley opens its doors to the public

Boxpark has officially opened the door to its largest site to date in Wembley Park, marking the latest addition to the area’s growing retail offering.

The 50,000sq ft retail and leisure scheme is Boxpark’s third in London, with Boxpark Croydon having opened in 2016 following the success of its debut in Shoreditch.

Over the weekend the site, which doubles as a 2500 capacity events space, held a launch event which featured performances from artists like Redlight and Unknown T as part of a Rinse FM takeover.

Events are scheduled to continue throughout the coming year, including a vintage Christmas fair next week, a series of Christmas movie screenings alongside Super Sunday Football and premier league screenings.

“We are building on our Eat.Drink.Play brand ethos by developing a new leisure area called PlayBox at Boxpark Wembley,” Boxpark chief executive Roger Wade said.

“We want people to come to Boxpark to enjoy world-class street food and great beer, have fun in PlayBox, followed by a boogie in BeatBox.

“We want to build the ultimate night out, not just a place to eat and drink.”
