Abercrombie & Fitch has appointed Felix Carbullido as an independent director.
Carbullido joins from kitchenwares and home furnishings retailer Williams-Sonoma where he is currently executive vice president and chief marketing officer.
Prior to Williams-Sonoma, he has served at various different retailers, including Macy’s, Banana Republic, Gap and Smith & Hawken.
“Carbullido will bring more than 30 years of speciality retail experience to its board,” Abercrombie & Fitch chairman Terry Burman said.
“He has deep digital marketing and omnichannel experience, an impressive track record leading marketing strategy for multi-brand speciality retail companies, and an open and collaborative approach — all of which will be helpful as we continue to drive our brands forward in our current ‘growing while transforming’ phase.”
Carbullido’s appointment means that Abercrombie’s board now comprises of 11 directors.
