The chief executive of Gant is reportedly stepping down to return to Adidas as a new executive board member.

According to Drapers, Brian Grevy is leaving the Stockholm-based fashion retailer after four years to become an executive board member for Adidas Group’s global brands.

Grevy joined Gant in 2016 as chief marketing officer before being promoted to chief executive in June 2018.

Prior to that, he spent almost 12 years at Adidas.

Gant is reportedly in the process of interviewing people for a successor to Grevy, who is set to remain with the retailer until a new chief executive is confirmed.

The news comes after Gant’s former creative director Christopher Bastin returned to the fashion retailer as its new global artistic director earlier this month.
