Vans unveils first European concept store in Covent Garden

Vans has kicked off its UK retail transformation with the official opening of its brand new boutique store in Covent Garden, West London. The store, located on Neal Street is the first of its kind in Europe, spanning 4,359sq ft. featuring two floors. 
The new Vans Boutique will champion its Vans’ “Off The Wall” ethos by hosting various events in-store.

Vans has kicked off its UK retail transformation with the official opening of a brand new concept store in Covent Garden, central London.

The store premises, which is part of The Mercers’ Company property estate, is located on Neal Street and is the first of its kind in Europe, spanning 4359sq ft across two floors.

Footwear apparel and accessories are stocked in-store, including “Vault by Vans” and its latest collaboration with Vivienne Westwood.

The concept store, designed by the Vans in-house team, pays tribute to the retailer’s creative expression featuring a dedicated activation space in the basement which will house installations, workshops and events.

“We are very excited about our retail transformation coming to life in London, we aim to provide shoppers with a much needed differentiated and authentic consumer experience,” Vans vice president direct to consumer Diego Baronchelli said.

“The Covent Garden boutique store will be followed by the opening of Vans’ first store on Oxford Street and a series of store re-fits, including Vans Carnaby Street.”

Mercers’ Company property director Simon Taylor said: “We are always looking to work with pioneering brands at the forefront of the retail industry and Vans’ exciting new Boutique concept fits in seamlessly amongst the fashion-forward retailers in Covent Garden.”
