Retail Gazette Loves: Harveys & Bensons for Bed’s campaign for mental health

Harveys and Bensons for Beds have partnered with mental health charity Mind to create a number of campaigns to raise awareness and money for the cause.

Mind offers millions of people advice, support, information and services nationally and locally, with an aim to improve the nation’s mental health.

The charity’s ambition is to empower those living with mental health problems and make sure people get the support they need.

“There are so many synergies between mental health and sleep,” Harveys and Bensons for Beds marketing director Helen Nunn said.

“The home can be the starting point of many conversations – where people come together, spending time talking and sharing good times, as well as more difficult times.

“We therefore felt Mind would be an ideal partner for us as we drive forward our business propositions.”

Mind head of corporate partnerships Emma Ishan said:  “Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem.

“We believe no one should have to face a mental problem alone.

“This partnership will help support our work, such as our vital Infoline, which provides support and advice for people living with mental health problems.

“And it will help make sure we can continue to be there for people who need it, when they need it the most.”

Bensons also recently announced a partnership with sleep scientist, Dr Sophie Bostock, who was brought on to help drive its Sleep Wellness™ proposition forwards in 2020.
