Aldi has announced that all customers will be required to wear a face mask when visiting its stores across the UK unless medically exempt.

This rule will come into effect from tomorrow (30 November) as Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the re-introduction of face masks as a result of the new Covid-19 variant Omicron, branded as a “variant of concern” by the World Health Organisation.
