London shoppers expected to splurge out 15.5bn this Christmas, report reveals

Lockdowns hit Liberty hard, but online sales boom
While the luxury department store made a pre-tax loss of £1.32m, this was better than the loss of £6.69m a year prior.

Shoppers in London are set to spend £15.5bn both in-store and online across the six weeks leading up to Christmas Eve, according to a new report.

The report by VoucherCodes/GlobalData revealed a 4.6 per cent increase compared with the same period last year.
